These were recommended by a friend of mine. I’m all for supporting small businesses. Before purchasing I asked a very particular question and that was, is there a band? She said no, is there a seam? she said no She said they smoothed her tummy down nicely. I got excited and ordered 2 pairs since the black was sold out. I love love the stitching and fabric. So so nice and stretchy yet very compressing. The issue is, the seam at the top is so thick and not stretchy that it squishes into my rolls making me look like a squashed tamale. I have 3 kids so I have a momma pooch and it doesn’t disguise it very well either. While I’m sure these may work for others, unfortunately I cannot wear these out because they fit perfect everywhere except for that very thick seam that just squishes so so much and ruined the biker shorts for me. Fabric was amazing, stitching was great but that seam just made the shorts a solid no for me. Breaks my heart because they are so so perfect otherwise. I’d suggest the owner considering having no seam at the top ( like the lulu lemon aligns). This would make this biker short a solid 10 for me.
